Venue, Accommodation and Boarding
After five years, the EPE conference will once again visit Brno, at a nice place near the Brno Dam. This year, the conference will be held for the first time in the new location MAXIMUS Resort****. We hope that you will enjoy the chosen place at least as much as in previous years.
Venue
The conference takes place at (MAXIMUS Resort****). Boarding will be provided directly at the conference venue.
The Maximus Resort Hotel is located in the picturesque countryside of the Podkomorské Lesy Nature park just a few meters off the shores of the Brno Dam and a twenty-minute drive to downtown Brno. The calm environment of the new, modern hotel, with ACCOMMODATION in three- or four-star rooms and suites, the top-quality INFINIT MAXIMUS WELLNESS & SPA, gourmet RESTAURANT and the splendid WEDDING MEADOW in the small valley behind the hotel, all among the beauty of the SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE, will leave you speechless and completely invigorated.

Participants are requested to familiarize themselves with visa requirements well in advance of the conference.
The conference organizers cannot intervene with Embassies abroad on behalf of any participant.
However, if you need a personal invitation letter to attend the conference, please contact us via e-mail epe2023@epe-conference.eu as soon as possible. A signed, scanned invitation letter will then be sent to you via e-mail.

Brno Airport
From the Brno airport (Letiště Tuřany) to the main station (Hlavní nádraží) you can use public transport, bus 76 (Letiště Tuřany -> Hlavní nádraží; about 20 min).
Prague Airport
From the Prague airport (Letiště Václava Havla Praha, Ruzyně) you can take bus Student Agency to Brno main station (Hlavní nádraží) with the transfer at Prague bus station Florenc (Praha, ÚAN Florenc); about 200 min. It is necessary to make a reservation to the bus in advance. The payment is available online via bank card.
Brno Main Station
From the Main Station "Hlavní nádraží" to the hotel "Zoologická zahrada" stop you can use public transport, tram 1 (direction "Bystrc", "Ečerova"). "Hlavní nádraží" -> "Zoologická zahrada"; about 24 min. Then you will walk across the footbridge from the tram stop "Zoologická zahrada" to the bus stop "Lávka u ZOO" (at the stop "Pod Mniší horou"). Brno Bus Station
From the bus station you can easily get to the main station on foot (5 min), going along the shopping center Vaňkovka and than you can use tram 1.
Town Center
From the town center (Česká stop) to the hotel (U Zoologické zahrady 2 stop) you can use public transport, tram 3 (direction Bystrc, Rakovecká). Česká -> Přístaviště; about 20 min.
By car
Getting to Brno, using D1 motorway, take exit 190 (Brno - západ, BVV) and then take the direction Bystrc, Přehrada (Dam).
