Information for Authors

Common information

All persons participating at the conference - including authors - must first register. Registration is done online through a form at the conference web site. After a successful registration, you will be sent an e-mail with login data that you will use in Administration Area. Once logged in, you can enter all necessary data, e.g. abstracts, full papers, invoice data, accommodation reservation.

Paper Length

Registrated authors can publish one paper in lenght of max 6 pages and the fee for publishing of this paper is involved in registration fee. For publishing of every other paper author pays publishing costs in amount of 100 € (2 550 CZK).

Abstract text should not exceed one A4 page. Abstract is used only for the first round of paper selection, it would not be published separately. Full text of the paper should not exceed 6 pages of text in the final form according to template. For every other page would be requested fee of 50 € (1 275 CZK) for publishing costs.

We also remind, that the conference papers are, according to methodics of Council for Research, Development and Innovation, considered as publications on the distinguished conference, because the conference proceedings is periodically indexed into the database ISI Web of Knowledge, where you can check the presence of publications from former years - you can enter into the search field "Electric Power Engineering" for search in the field Conference.

As a condition for involving the paper into the proceedings, which is indexed in ISI Thomson database, it is necessary to present the paper on the conference by at least one of the authors according to assigned type of presentation.

Papers presentation

According to the conference programme, authors will presented papers one from the following way

• POSTER: 130x85 cm (height x width) - the maximum size!!
• LECTURE: 10 minutes + discussion (5 minutes)
• Special lecture: 15 minutes + discussion (5 minutes)
• INVITED LECTURE: 20 minutes

Way of your presentation you can find in conference programme.

We kindly ask you to be present at least 10 minutes before the session starts. Introduce yourself to the chairman and deliver your presentation.

Presentation facilities

In case of present your paper as oral lecture, suitable format of presentation is required due to accesible facility for the presentation. Following facilities will be available:

• Videodata projector with XGA resolution (1024x768 pixels)
• MS Windows XP
• MS Office 2003-2007 (MS Power Point 2003-2007)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader verze 8

In case of present your paper as poster, we recommend print poster on the one sheet of paper not bigger than 130 x 85 cm (format A0 = 1189 x 841 mm). You can fix poster on the table with double side self-adhesive tape.

Full Papers

We call authors for full paper preparation, after abstract confirmation. Please, prepare your text of full paper according to instruction below. Deadline for full paper delivery is March 26, 2012

Papers including reviewers comments are required by May 2, 2012.

Paper Templates

Please insert your abstract and full paper text into the prepared templates. We recommended type the paper directly to prepared templates (before inserting text through the copy from other file). There is two version of templates - for MS Word version 2000/XP and RTF compatible template usable also on other text editors. If you will not be able type paper in prepared templates, please do not hasite contact us as soon as possible for handling this problem.

Download template to your PC and after opening file EPE2012en.dot new document based on template will be created. Instructions for work with text you can find directly in the document. If you will use rtf file, please type directly to the file. After editing please save document under your own file name.
